The existing fleet comprises 18 speciality tankers valued at US$315 million, held in three closed investment funds. Norstar's strategy has been to identify under-built and overlooked niche sectors of the shipping market then to apply its long experience in shipping procurement to building a fleet of quality, modern vessels.
